FAQ - Wreckfest 2019

Hey dear Racers, Crashers, and Bonebreakers... We monitored your questions closely, which is why we would like to present you with the following FAQ:

What are your plans for Wreckfest after the release? 

A: After release, Wreckfest will receive many free content updates, bringing things like new tracks, new game modes and other improvements. There are also several DLCs planned (which are included in the season pass / Deluxe Edition), bringing new cars, roof decorations and other customization options.

Will the console version support splitscreen or couch coop?

A: Currently there are no plans to support this.

Will there be cross-platform play?

A: Currently there are no plans to support this.

Will the game support steering wheels?

A: Yes, many different wheels are supported.

Will the console version get mods like NASCAR, Bangers and moon gravity?

A: Currently there are no plans to support this.

Will the game support VR?

A: Currently there are no plans to support this.

Will the game support 4K on consoles?

A: No, but maybe this can be offered in a post launch patch.

What's the target frame rate for Wreckfest on consoles?

A: The frame rate is locked at 30 FPS on consoles.

Why do some retailers show December 31 as release date?

A: Maybe because they have not yet updated their store page. The game is definitely releasing on Aug 27th.

Will you move the release date again?

A: No, this date is the real date. No excuses.

I bought the Deluxe Edition for PC, will I get the Season Pass?

A: The Early Access Digital Deluxe version included a Soundtrack, Wallpapers and the exclusive steam backer car. The Season pass is offered for the 2019 season and is not included in any Early Access version that was sold.

I pre-ordered Wreckfest for PC, will I get the pre-order bonus car?

A: The PC version of Wreckfest is already released since June 2018. If you purchased the PC box version, no pre order bonus is included.

I pre-ordered Next Car Game via the website, will I receive Wreckfest when it’s released?

A: Yes, you will receive a code to your email that was used when purchasing the game. The codes will be sent at launch of the game.

I pre-ordered Next Car Game via the website, which edition will I receive?

A: If you purchased the „Weekend Smasher“ version, you will get the full game.
If you purchased the „Full-Time-Wrecker“ version, you will get the full game and the pre-order car.
If you purchased the „Team Bugbear“ version, you will get the full game and the pre-order car.
 
Important: Within the next days you will receive an email from Bugbear with instructions. It will be sent to the address that was used when purchasing via nextcargame.com (http://nextcargame.com/) . Make sure to check your spam & junk folders if you have not received any email.

I backed the Kickstarter for Next Car Game, will I receive Wreckfest when it’s released?

A: The Kickstarter campaign was cancelled before it ended. This means no money was charged and therefore the game is not given to Kickstarter customers.
