Evading the law — or dragging your rivals before a judge — has always been a core part of The Guild franchise, and the upcoming entry, The Guild – Europa 1410, won’t be any different.

Learn how to charm judges, grease palms, frame rivals, and avoid an execution. Plot schemes in smoky taverns, spy on your business competitors, and see how far a well-timed “donation” can take you. The Lawbook may say what’s legal… but money always wants to have a word, too.

But creating laws is also within your power: depending on your position in the city council, you can shape the very rules others must obey. The Treasurer oversees everything about taxes, rents, and fees, while the Inquisitor keeps a sharp eye on crimes like blackmail and kidnapping. How you use these laws — to make your own family rise and prosper or to send your rivals’ dynasties tumbling into prison — will decide who truly rules the city.
